The current facility utilises our MD's personal Apple MobileMe account iDisk Public folder.
Due to changes in 'cloud computing' Apple are withdrawing the iDisk facility in summer 2012, therefore sharing rehearsal tracks using this method will no longer be available.
Our MD has been trialling an alternative free facility called Dropbox and will be shortly migrating rehearsal tracks to this new facility.
The impact on choir members or the availability of rehearsal tracks should be minimal.
You will shortly receive an email from Dropbox with the subject line stating our MD wants to share a folder with you. You must take action to accept the invite, if you want to continue accessing rehearsal tracks online. You may also have to download the Dropbox free utility to you computer. In addition you could download the Dropbox mobile app to your smart phone.
The alternate options to not using this facility are:
1) Practice your music without the aid of MP3 rehearsal tracks.
2) Bring a 'USB memory stick' to choir and request the rehearsal files you need.
